Ingredients
- ⅓ cup couscous ½ cup boiling water
- 2 tsp. canola oil ½ cup chopped red bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. curry powder ½ tsp. cumin ½ tsp. allspice ½tsp. ginger ½ tsp. salt ¼ tsp. pepper ¼ tsp. paprika ⅛ tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 oz. lean ground turkey 4 whole-wheat hamburger buns 4 tomato slices 4 lettuce leaves

Instructions
- Combine couscous and water. Let stand until tender (5-10 minutes).
- Heat oil in a small skillet over low heat. Add bell pepper, garlic, herbs, and spices. Cook, stirring, until the bell pepper is slightly softened (1-2 minutes).
- Prepare a grill or preheat the broiler to high.
- Mix turkey, couscous, and bell pepper thoroughly. Shape into four ¾" thick patties. Grill or broil the patties, turning once, until they reach a minimum internal temperature of 165ºF (5 minutes per side).
- Build burgers on buns with tomato and lettuce.
