Ingredients
- ¼ cup canola oil
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. parsley
½ tsp. garlic powder
8 boneless pork chops
1½ cups unsweetened applesauce
â…› tsp. nutmeg
â…› tsp. allspice
- 2 tsp. chopped garlic
½ tsp. pepper
¼ tsp. salt
Instructions
- Mix canola oil with basil, parsley, and garlic powder.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pork with oil mixture and sauté until meat reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165ºF (4-5 minutes per side).
- Remove pork from pan and loosely cover with foil. Lower heat to medium-low.
- While pork is resting, add remaining ingredients to skillet and heat sauce until warm and bubbling (3-4 minutes).
- Divide sauce over pork chops to serve.
